An incorrect derivation was ab homine (i.e, inhuman), and the spelling of the See also:adjective "abominable" in the first See also:Shakespeare See also:folio is always " abhominable." Colloquially " See also:abomination " and " abominable" are used to mean simply excessive in a disagreeable sense .
