Additional information and Comments

THis article fails to document the war crimes that were perpettrated by Bixio against civilians in Sicily during the so-called expedition of the Thousand led by Garibaldi. Bixio was a racist and in the pay of the British. The 1972 film "Bronte" provides what is perhaps the most realistic portrayal of this butcher from Genoa.
