He died in 1770 . His See also:Watteau-like See also:style and graceful voluptuousness gave him the See also:title of the See also:Anacreon of See also:painting, but his repute declined until See also:recent years . The See also:Wallace collection, at See also:Hertford See also:House, has some of his finest pictures, outside the Louvre . His etchings were also numerous and masterly .
