A See also:short distance below this the See also:Coquet has its mouth in See also:Alnwick See also:Bay (See also:North See also:Sea), with the small See also:port of Amble on the See also:south See also:bank, and Coquet See also:Island a mile out to sea . The river is frequented by sportsmen for See also:salmon and See also:trout fishing No important tributary is received, and the drainage See also:area does not exceed 240 sq. m .
