Vladimir Mikhailovich Bekhterev Biography (1857–1927)

Neuropathologist, born in Sorali, Vyatskaya oblast, W Russia. As professor at Kazan he studied neural electricity, and founded the Psychoneurological Institute in St Petersburg (Leningrad). He developed a theory of conditioned reflexes, independently of Pavlov.
