Volksnationale Reichsvereinigung (VR)

A German non-socialist middle-class splinter party, founded on the orgnizational lines of the Jungdeutscher Orden. It merged with the Deutsche Demokratische Partei (DDP) for the Reichstag elections of September 1930 to form the Deutsche Staatspartei, but quit the alliance in October 1930. It supported Brüning's government, merging with the Jungdeutscher Orden in 1931.
