Klaus Von Dohnanyi Biography (1928– )
German politician, the son of Hans von Dohnanyi. A member of the Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands (SPD), he served as Bundesminister für Bildung und Wissenschaft (1972–4), Staatsminister im Auswärtigen Amt (1976–81), and Erster Bürgermeister of Hamburg (1981–8).
