it contains good information.there is no mention of ceramic industry which provides livelihood to many.this may have developed since the pulication of the entry in the encycopedia.there however is ommision of demography.there are many muslims living in india.people are known by their profession/callingssuch as butchers, tellis.rawals.doms etcetra.there is a class of muslims who call themseves pathans.that isbelonging to afghanistan and are prouud of it.they call themselves by their clans.names such as khalis, ghilzais,tareens. kheshgis etcetra.after partition of india in 1947 many migrated to the new country pakistan---london,us.germanyand elsewhere. there is no authentic information about these people.the writer of theabove lines is ghilzai and would appreciate to know about his origin.
