MESOCEPHALIC  , a See also:

term applied by anthropologists to those skulls which exhibit a cephalic See also:index intermediate between the See also:dolichocephalic and See also:brachycephalic crania (see See also:CRANIOMETRY) . Taking the longer See also:diameter of a See also:skull, i.e. the one from front to back, as too, mesocephalic skulls are those of which the trans-See also:verse diameter varies between 75 to 80 .
