See also:Bourgeois See also:ministry of 1895—1896 as See also:minister of See also:commerce, See also:industry, See also:post and telegraphs, was See also:vice-president of the Chamber from 1898 to 1902, and presided over the See also:Budget See also:Commission of 1899, 1901 and 1902 . He was defeated at the polls in, 2902, but became director of the Assistance Ppblique .
