ORTHOGRAPHY (from Gr. Opeoc, correct, right or straight, and yp&cbecv, to write)  , spelling which is correct according to accepted use . The word is also applied, in See also:architecture, to the geometrical See also:elevation of a See also:building or of any See also:part of one in which all the details are shown in correct relative proportion and See also:drawn to See also:scale . When the See also:representation is taken through a building it is known as a See also:section, and when portions of the structure only are drawn to a large scale they are called details .
