[back] SINAI |
[next] SINALOA |
The information given in the text was that Sinaia is aproximately 12miles south of the city of Predeal at the border to Hungary. This information is wrong because Transylvania not a part of Hungary but of Romania. Transylvania was under the rule of the Austrian-Hungarian empire but was never a integral part of Hungary. Nevertheless, Transylvania is a part of Romania with a population consisting of Romanian majority alongside several minorities such as Hungarians, Germans, Jews and Gypsies. This is a fact in spite of wish many Hungarians have to regard Transylvania as Hungarian territory.
