It was thus a town of some importance . Under the See also:church of SS . Pietro e See also:Paolo and the adjoining houses are extensive substructures (in See also:opus reticulatum and See also:brickwork) of the 1st See also:century A.D., belonging to a See also:building erected by M . Vectius See also:Marcellus (probably mentioned by See also:Pliny, H.N., IL 199) and Helvidia Priscilla . There are also remains of large reservoirs and of a See also:theatre .
