I was stationed just east of tharrawaddy About 6 miles south of Prome 1n 1945/we had a very nice site and were very happy with our time in Burma. I have thought many times on mak,ing a return troip to see the whole area again.o to renew my time in Yangon/Rangoon. was with the 82nd West African div. My fellow servicemen would all be in their eighties now. Sergeants Ponsonby, Buggs and others were all English.
