Las Vegas Hotel Review - A Comprehensive Las Vegas Hotel Review

Las Vegas hotels are mega-complexes which aim at providing their guests with the ultimate in entertainment. Many of them succeed at this, giving visitors an overwhelming abundance of food, drink, gaming, shows, and sights and sounds that keep people coming back again and again. Las Vegas is America’s playground—a place designed for adult fun on a massive scale. Las Vegas hotels like The Venetian, Bellagio, Wynn and Caesar’s Palace cater to high rollers who come for serious play. But you can stay and enjoy any of the Vegas hotel and casino properties. The Flamingo, for example, caters to the mid-level tourists/gamblers, and sits right in the middle of The Strip. It has a shopping mall, bars, multiple restaurants and buffets, and a massive casino floor. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is carnival-like, as it is across the city.

Walking around or taking the free shuttles provided by some hotel properties (Harrah’s, for one), you can soak up all the sights, sounds, and smells of Sin City, personified by boisterous and bright casinos, extravagant and exciting stage shows such as Zumanity—a Cirque du Soleil production—at New York New York Casino. There’s world-class art on display here, not the least of which is the work of blown-glass artist Dale Chihuly, which can be seen hanging at The Bellagio, as well as at The Dale Chihuly Gallery, outside of Aria Hotel and Casino. There are nightly “free shows” all along Las Vegas Blvd., such as the dancing fountains at Bellagio, the pirate battle at Treasure Island, and the lions in the MGM Grand. The animatronic show inside Caesar’s Palace is worth seeing, as well. But, you can also score discount show tickets to numerous shows with Broadway-like production value.

In short, Las Vegas hotels bring you the ultimate stay in terms of decadent fun. The shark tank and sandy-beached pool at Mandalay Bay; the exhilirating rides at the top of The Stratosphere; the carnival-esque Masquerade Show in the Sky at The Rio; Fremont Street’s own mesmerizing sky show; the canal rides at the Venetian, under permanently blue skies; and the hustle and bustle of The Strip itself—this and more is what keeps people coming back to Las Vegas Hotels time after time.
