One Way Rental Car - The Best Deals On A One Way Rental Car

car rental one way

Not many people have heard of a one way rental car. If you happen to be one those people, this article might be helpful. And if you’re looking to travel from one place to another without the intention of returning to your place of origin, then it might be even more beneficial. For starters, a one way rental car is simply a car that you rent and drive from one place to another and leave there. You don’t need to return the car to the same location that you rented it. However, you do need to return it to a participating location. For instance, if you rent a car from Budget, you must return it to another Budget location.

One-way rental cars are good for several purposes. One of their most common uses is for those who are moving. Hiring a moving company is expensive. Therefore, many people try to do it on their own. By getting a one way rental car, they’re able to save on costs and use their own car for moving purposes. Another popular use for a one way rental car is for a cross-country vacation. Many people choose this option to avoid putting thousands of miles on their car. There are several other reasons to consider a one way rental car. They include avoiding expensive airfare and general business purposes.

Renting a one-way car is not like renting a standard rental car. First of all, not all rental car companies offer this service. And some who do offer this service don’t offer much in the way of discounts. Instead of focusing on the negatives, let’s focus on the companies that offer the best one way rental car deals.

Avis is one of the best companies to deal with in regards to one way rental cars, but this is only if you plan on using the car for 1-4 days. If you use a one way rental car from Avis for 5 days or more including a Saturday night, you will be able to save $25. They’re not the only rental car company offering such a deal, but there are other offers that do make them stand out. One is the Florida One-Way Special. The rules are that you must depart from any Florida airport location and drop the car off at a participating location in one of the following southeastern states: Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, or Louisiana. You will get unlimited mileage and there is no drop-off fee. A compact or midsize car will cost $9.95 per day and an SUV will cost between $26.95 and $29.95 per day.

They also have an Arizona One-Way Rental Car Special. In this case, you must rent the car from 1-7 days and return it to an Avis location in Arizona, California, or Nevada. The cheapest one way rental car they offer is $16 per day for a subcompact, compact, midsize, fullsize, premium, or convertible, but it must be prior to May 1. The first rate hike is from May 1 to May 31, which is over 100% for smaller cars. After June 1, prices spike again. It’s wise to plan accordingly.

Alamo also offers Florida one way car rentals. Prior to May 31, the cost for a compact or midsize is as low as $10 per day. The cost for a standard or fullsize is only $12 per day. The car can be kept for up to 21 days and must be dropped off somewhere within the continental United States other than Florida. These one-way car rentals also must be booked 24 hours in advance.

A far different type of one way car rental is offered by Budget. They are one of the few companies that will allow you to drive a one way car rental from coast to coast. However, their rates are $149 per week if you rent from a Florida airport and $169 per week if you rent from anywhere else. This is more expensive than the options listed above. On the other hand, you will never have to worry about tolls. They are taken care of automatically and charged directly to your credit card. There are 600 Budget locations in the United States. If you’re going cross-country, you shouldn’t have a problem finding a place for drop-off.
