FEGAN, ROY (1961–). Actor. He was born in Los Angeles , California , and began his acting career in two UCLA graduate student productions, Gay Abel-Bey’s Fragrance , 1981; and Nancy Jones’s Mothers and Daughters , 1981. He landed his first Hollywood film role in They Call Me Bruce? 1982, and was cast in three films directed by Robert Townsend, Hollywood Shuffle, 1987; The Five Heartbeats, 1991; and The Meteor Man, 1993. Fegan also appeared on the HBO special The Best of Robert Townsend & His Partners in Crime , 1991. Other television credits include Sisters, 227, Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper, Murphy Brown, Martin, The Jamie Foxx Show, Will & Grace , and The Shield .
