GRIER, DAVID ALAN (1955–). Comedian, actor. This Detroit, Michigan born actor earned his Master of Fine Arts Degree from Yale University, School of Drama in 1981, and received a Tony Award nomination for his portrayal of baseball great Jackie Robinson in the Broadway musical The First . He has an impressive list of film and television appearances, including Streamers , 1983; Boomerang , 1992; and The Woodsman , 2004. He was a regular on the comedy series In Living Color , and provided the voice for Red the Alley Cat in Stuart Little , 1999.
