Griffin, Eddie (1968–)

GRIFFIN, EDDIE (1968–). Comedian, actor. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and attended Lincoln High School, where he was voted class clown three times. Griffin used his gift to make people laugh and became a stand-up comedian before moving into television and film. His film work includes the lead roles in Foolish , 1999, and Undercover Brother , 2002. On television, he portrayed the title character of Eddie Sherman in the sitcom Malcolm & Eddie , 1996, and starred in his own stand-up comedy special Dys Functional Family , 2003. He also wrote and produced My Baby’s Daddy , 2004.
