NUNN, BILL (1953–). Actor. He was born in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania , and graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta , Georgia . He first came to prominence in the role of Radio Raheem, the silent, boombox-toting thug in director Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing , 1989. Nunn has appeared in many of Lee’s later films, including Mo’ Better Blues , 1990, and He Got Game , 1998. He was trained on the Atlanta stage and has played a wide spectrum of characters on film, and appeared in three television pilots and several series.
