Richardson, Sy

RICHARDSON, SY. Actor. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He began singing at age 12 and recorded his first record with the group Lil June and the Januarys at 16. Richardson served two years with the U.S. Navy and graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a B.S. degree in journalism. After working for several Colorado newspapers, he joined the Heritage Square Opera House and performed for two years before moving to Hollywood. He teaches acting workshops and is a member of the International Society for Excellence in Christian Film and Television.
