Konica Minolta Laser Printer - A Small Konica Minolta Laser Printer That Delivers Big

home office quality it’s

There are many quality printer companies out there today. These companies include Hewlett Packard, Canon, Brother, and Epson. These four names are the most recognized in the industry. And they each have a reputation for offering something different. Hewlett Packard is known for selling many different models, as well as consistency. However, it’s rare that their printers will blow you out of the water. They’re more concerned with solid enough equipment to make a profit so they can move on to the next model. Their customer service is also poor. Canon, on the other hand, offers excellent customer service and specializes in photo prints. This should come as no surprise based on their history. Brother and Epson focus more on quality than quantity. They will spend a lot of time on one model prior to selling it. Their goal is to attain loyal customers to their brand. Then there are a few lesser known printer companies, such as Samsung and Konica Minolta. Samsung focuses mostly on larger, business-oriented printers, and Konica Minolta will only design and sell a printer if they feel there is something special about it. One such model is the Konica Minolta Magicolor 1600W. This Konica Minolta laser printer is special because it’s the smallest laser printer available. But there are many other great features as well.

Let’s cover the performance stats for the Konica Minolta Magicolor 1600W prior to reviewing some of its features. When it comes to speed, the 1600W can print up to 20 pages per minute black and 5 pages per minute color. This isn’t bad for a laser printer, but it’s not spectacular, either. The important thing to keep in mind is that this laser printer is designed primarily for home office use. If you use it in your home office, it will be difficult to find anything better as far as laser printers go. If you attempt to use it in a busy office where a lot will be expected of it, you will be disappointed. As far as quality goes, print resolution can reach as high as 1200 × 600 dots per inch. This is about average for a laser printer. Another average stat is that it can hold up to 200 sheets of paper.

Don’t worry, there are a few things about this Konica Minolta laser printer that are better than average. In addition to being the smallest laser printer on the market at only 15.6 × 15 × 10.8 inches (W x D x H), it also prints on various sizes of media. These include envelopes, labels, plain paper, and recycled paper. The maximum media size in Standard Mode is A4. The maximum media size in Custom Mode is 8.5 × 14 inches. These are all very impressive numbers, especially for a home printer. However, there is one number that brings some confusion. The monthly duty cycle for this printer is 35,000 characters. The key word here is ‘characters.’ It’s very rare to see a monthly duty cycle listed in this manner. It seems as though they’re trying to hide the fact that the monthly duty cycle is average at best. But if you plan on using this as a home office printer – as you should – then this will not be an issue.

The bottom line is that the Konica Minolta Magicolor 1600W offers great quality for the price and is easy to use. It is highly recommended for home office use.
