Englewood is a mid-size city in the Denver metropolitan area of Colorado. It has a population of 32,532 and is just south of downtown Denver. Englewood was first settled on Little Dry Creek in 1860. The first road to Denver was constructed in 1864 by the town’s founder. It was officially incorporated as a city of Arapahoe County in 1903. Today, the city is primarily known as a “bedroom community,” with many residents commuting to work in Denver’s technological centers. It remains close enough to Denver to give residents access to the city, while being just far away enough to have a small-town atmosphere.

Englewood has 14,392 households living in a total of 14,916 housing units. The number of Englewood homes for sale at any given time ranges from 500 to 600. The Englewood home market is a tight one, but it stays steady without much fluctuation. The city quickly rebounded from the U.S. crises and Englewood home prices are rising at an even incline. The city’s neighborhoods can be divided into four quadrants. The oldest quadrant is the northwest. This is where the downtown area is located. Houses here can date back as far as 1910. The medical center plays a large role in the economy of Englewood.

Public education needs are met by four separate school districts, although most Englewood homes for sale fall in the Englewood Public Schools district. The district has about 3,300 students and includes two high schools.
