Pensacola Beach Rentals - Locating Pensacola Beach Rentals

popular available visitors beaches

Pensacola Beach is part of Santa Rosa Island just off the coast of Pensacola, Florida. The attractive, white-sand beaches of Pensacola attract thousands of visitors each year looking for a tropical getaway, and the 8.25 miles of beach do just that. Visitors come in by all means, including plane, car, bus, and boat. Once on the beach, several different options are available for accommodations. While many people choose a basic hotel room, several resort condominiums offer Pensacola beach rentals. In addition, some beach houses are available for rent, but condos are much more popular.

Pensacola beach rentals are available on any of the major beach areas. Each stretch of beach has its own atmosphere and caters to visitors looking for different types of vacations. The most popular beaches, however, are those facing the south, often referred to as the Gulfside beaches. Here are the most popular beaches where Pensacola vacation rentals can be found:

Casino Beach – This section of beach is just south of Via de Luna Drive. It is the most popular beach in the area. It includes the Portofino Boardwalk that has food and shopping available all within walking distance. Most of the visitors hang out by the pier.

Soundside – This beach is not very popular. A lot of people use it for parking. Avoid beach rentals in this area.

Fort Pickens Gate Park – This is not the most popular beach, but it is one of the best in the area and a good place to go shelling.

Park East – This beach is located about 1.25 miles just east of the most popular resort for Pensacola beach rentals, Portofino Resort and Spa. Picnic pavilions are available here.

Langdon Beach – This beach is located along Fort Pickens Road and is only open from sunrise to sunset. There is no vehicle access and no lifeguards. It’s a great place for a little seclusion.

Opal Beach – Opal beach is also only open from sunrise to sunset. It has just been totally repaired and rebuilt after hurricane damage.

Quietwater Beach – This beach is located behind the Portofino boardwalk on the sound-side of the island. It is known as a good beach for children.
