Niagara Falls Inn - Choosing The Right Niagara Falls Inn

hotel night you’re days

Some vacation destinations can be described with unique words. Niagara Falls is not one of them. While it might sound cliché, there is only one word to describe Niagara Falls, which is ‘majestic.’ The sheer size and magnetism of these falls is what makes ‘majestic’ the perfect word. Unfortunately, many people who travel from all around the world to visit New York City and the surrounding area look past the falls as a necessary place to visit. Since Niagara Falls is a 7 hour drive from New York City, they have good reason for this. However, if you are someone who lives in the United States and plans on taking a road trip to the New York area, it would be well worth the trip to stay two or three days in Niagara Falls. Deciding on a hotel in Niagara Falls is the tough part.

If you really want to get the full experience of visiting Niagara Falls, you’re going to have to stay on the Canadian side, in Ontario. The best choice is the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel, which is only 200 yards from the falls. This hotel offers incredible views, has 32 stories, as well as an indoor pool. Despite it being a 4-star hotel and one of the best hotels in the Niagara Falls area, it is possible to rent a room for only $182 per night. The address for this stellar Niagara Falls in is 6755 Fallsview Boulevard, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada L2G 3W7.

Another popular Niagara Falls inn is the Sterling Inn & Spa. However, it doesn’t hold up to the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel. A lot of that has to do with too much effort. From the outside, it looks like a standard hotel, except for the beer bottle shaped entrance, which is beyond out of place when compared to the interior. The furniture in the rooms is extremely modern, almost to a fault. And the restaurant AG might offer good food, but the set-up is completely white and highly structured, which makes you feel as though you’re dining in a futuristic spaceship. The fitness center has quality equipment, but it’s pretty much a gym stuffed into a big closet without windows. On a brighter note, the bar is very nice, a complimentary breakfast can be brought to your room every morning, and the staff is friendly. A standard room will cost an average of $132 per night and a deluxe room will cost $156 per night.

If you’re intent on finding a Niagara Falls inn on the New York side, your best option will be the Days Inn At The Falls. This is a Days Inn, so you should not expect amenities and accommodations that are offered at the previously mentioned hotels. If you’re not picky, then it might be the right choice for you. They have a nice indoor pool, clean rooms, and a good location. You will be near Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, a factory outlet mall, and Niagara Helicopter Tours. The latter is a great activity and can be nearly as exiting as taking a boat ride on Maid of the Mist. The Maid of the Mist is one of the oldest attractions in the United States and should be done by all. There are not many things in life as invigorating. A boat leaves every 15 minutes and the trip is only 30 minutes. As far as the Days Inn At The Falls, you can find rooms for as little as $130 per night, but some will cost as much as $450 per night. A lot will depend on the room and the dates of travel.

Other Niagara Falls Inns that are close to the falls and on the New York side are the Quality Inn & Suites At The Falls and Comfort Inn The Pointe. These hotels both have similar pricing to the Days Inn At The Falls. If you’re traveling to Niagara Falls for business, consider staying at Salvatore’s Garden Place Hotel & Conference Center. Rooms here rent for as low as $108 per night. If you want to be near the airport, look into the Millennium Airport Hotel Buffalo or the Hilton Garden Inn Buffalo Airport. The former has rooms for as low as $115 per night and the latter has rooms for $169 per night.
