Free Las Vegas Shows - 3 Free Las Vegas Shows You Won't Want to Miss - The Fountains of Bellagio, The Sirens of Ti, Fall of Atlantis

Not everyone loses their shirt in Las Vegas—this entertainment hub provides all manner of free entertainment for those trying to vacation on a budget. In addition to its collection of museums, parks, and karaoke bars, free Las Vegas shows can also be seen in several local hotels on the Vegas strip.

The Fountains of Bellagio

The Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas greets visitors with a choreographed water show that plays 10-32 times daily. Swiveling nozzles direct jets of water in an aquatic dance set to dozens of tastefully selected soundtracks. This $75 million attraction shoots spouts of water more than four hundred feet high, while thousands of lights fade, flash, and flicker along with the tunes.

Not sure if it’s worth seeing? Youtube has several videos (”All That Jazz”, ”Pink Panther”, and others) that display the fountains in high definition on windless nights when the fountains are at their most majestic.

Details, showtimes, and a full music list are available on the Fountains of Bellagio homepage. The Bellagio is located on the Vegas Strip at 3600 Las Vegas Boulevard South.

The Sirens of Ti

This nautical burlesque pits a stranded sailor against a crew of sexy singing sirens led by the sensuous and sinister Cinnamon. As a trapped ship’s lookout announces, these bikini- and fishnet-clad showgirls provide “more booty than yer eyes have ever beheld.” Shirtless, muscular men provide eye candy for the ladies as well in this lighthearted, pun-riddled musical.

This Vegas spectacle enjoys a high budget, with waterworks, professional lighting, smoke machines, and mock deck fires. Two replica pirate ships provide the staging, one of which actually sinks in the closest moments of the show.

Provided by Treasure Island Casino and Resort, the Pirates of Ti (Treasure island) is a free outdoor performance playing four to five times a day year round. The public nature of the show keeps it solidly PG-13—clothes stay on, and the sexual humor is raunchy without being obscene.

Still curious? Watch it on Youtube, learn the evening showtimes at the Treasure Island homepage, then check it out on the Vegas strip at 3300 Las Vegas Boulevard South.

Fall of Atlantis

Inclement weather can trump both of these free Las Vegas shows, but not so at Caesar’s Palace, where the Fall of Atlantis plays every hour. Moving animatronic statues in the likenesses of Atlantian heroes weave a tale of hubris and betrayal amid lighting and water choreography. Background is provided by a circular saltwater aquarium that adds to the illusion of visiting the mythological aquatic city.

The Fall of Atlantis takes place in the Forum area of Caesar’s Palace Hotel and Casino. It is just down the hall from the Festival Fountain Show, another free event featuring lasers, waters, and lights on a grand though indoor scale. The Forum itself is also the Caesar’s Palace mall, providing a place to look around once the shows are over.

More information about the Forum and Caesar’s Palace itself can be had on the Caesar’s Palace homepage. As an animatronic show, the Fall of Atlantis runs nonstop during mall hours. Caesar’s Palace is located on the Vegas strip at 3570 Las Vegas Boulevard South.
