Visitors to Las Vegas have a choice of 124,270 hotel rooms in over 350 hotels. This intense competition is what makes each hotel spectacular in its own special way. While the most popular hotels are those located on the famous Las Vegas strip, some of the best hotels are located off the strip. Case in point: The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. The Rio in Las Vegas is a Brazilian-themed hotel that actually sits in an unincorporated area of nearby Paradise, Nevada. It is operated by Harrah’s Entertainment, the same parent company of other famous hotel/casinos in Vegas, such as Bally’s and Caesars Palace.

The Rio in Las Vegas has everything you would expect from a premier Vegas hotel and casino: Fabulous rooms in a high-rise building, huge casino and gaming facilities, event venues, nightclubs, dining, and shopping. You can stay at the Rio and never have to leave the hotel your entire trip.

Hotel Rooms
The Rio in Las Vegas has exactly 2,563 rooms. Each room is a suite with a minimum size of 600 square feet. Minimum furnishings include a bed, sofa, dressing area, table and chairs, refrigerator, in-room safe, and a 32” TV.

There is no shortage of amenities at the Rio in Las Vegas. There are five Jacuzzis and four swimming pools, including the famous Voodoo Beach. Voodoo beach is a natural-looking lagoon featuring real-sand beaches and waterfalls. Drinks, food, music, and bathing-suited beauties make for a festive, party atmosphere. Other amenities include the following:
• A complete health club and fitness facility
• Full-service spa and salon
• Business center
• 160,000 square feet of meeting/convention space

Casino and Gaming
The casino is a full 120,000 square feet in size. It has over 1,200 slot machines and video poker machines, including some hot and exciting progressives. All of the most popular table games can be played including blackjack, craps, and roulette.

The Rio Poker Room holds Texas Hold ‘Em tournaments and other popular poker games, including 7-card Stud, Omaha, 2-7 Triple Draw, and more. Three tournaments are held daily and cash drawings take place three times each morning.

The Race & Sports Book area features 60 individual flat-screen TVs, 6 giant screens, 12 70” screens, and 20 32” TVs. There are 170 seats available for racing and sports fans.

Nightclubs and Restaurants
There are several nightclubs at the Rio Las Vegas, each with its own style and ambience:
