Located on Fifth Avenue, next to Central Park, the Plaza Hotel NY is one of the city’s most recognized and luxurious hotels. The establishment blends the elegance of times long past with modern technological conveniences in discreet placement for the best of both worlds. Not only does the Plaza Hotel NY provide first-class accommodations for individuals, couples, or families, they also have several restaurants for fine dining, full wellness services, retail shops and boutiques, and meeting or event facilities.

The Plaza Hotel NY building was designed by Henry Janeway Hardenbergh under the direction of three financiers who had dreams of opening a luxury apartment building with the style of a French chateau. The 19-story building cost $12.5 million and two years to construct. Its doors opened in October 1907. In order to maximize profits, unoccupied residences were furnished and rented out at a rate of $2.50 per night. Over the years, the hotel has been bought and sold several times, going through the hands of such prominent businessmen as Conrad Hilton and Donald Trump. Royalty, stars of stage and screen, government officials, and business executives from all over the world have stayed at the Plaza Hotel NY, and in 1969, it was named an historical landmark, the only such hotel in New York City. Today, the hotel is jointly owned by El-Ad Properties and Kingdom Holdings out of Saudi Arabia. It is managed by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
