Are you planning a trip to Disney World? If so, you may be overwhelmed by the enormous amount of Disney World lodging options. Hopefully this article will help simplify your decision as we take a look at five popular options. We’ll be learning about the Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Beach Club Resort, the Caribbean Beach Resort, the Coronado Springs Resort, and the budget friendly All-Star Movies Resort.

First, let’s learn about the Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is a deluxe Disney Resort. It’s part of a 43 acre wildlife preserve and features an authentic African-inspired design. It also features over 30 species of wildlife roaming through 4 tropical savannas. Each is home to different animals and has its own unique look and feel. Reservations can be made for the “Wanyama Safari” where you’ll enjoy up-close encounters with the wildlife, followed by a meal at Jiko.

Next, let’s look at the Beach Club Resort, which is also a deluxe Disney Resort. The Beach Club features a New England inspired design, broad oak trees, and is surrounded by Crescent Lake. Crescent Lake is the heart of family activity at the resort. You can rent watercraft, participate in catch and release fishing, swim in Stormalong Bay, and enjoy poolside service. The Beach Club is also one of the few resorts that provide a character dining experience. Be sure to stop by the “Cape May Café” for a character breakfast – located inside of the main lobby.

Third, let’s visit the Caribbean Beach Resort. The Caribbean Beach Resort is a moderately priced resort, but still provides plenty of entertainment for you and your family. It’s a tropical lakeside themed resort, set on the 45 acre Barefoot Bay. You’ll enjoy the exotic birds, quiet walks, and even hammocks if you’re in the mood for a quick nap. As with the Beach Club, you’ll be able to rent a variety of watercraft, including sailboats, pontoon boats, and a canoe for two. As you travel across Barefoot Bay you’ll end up at Parrot Cay Island, which holds colorful caged birds, a nature trail, and playgrounds for children.

Fourth, let’s discover the Coronado Springs Resort. This is a Southwest-themed resort at a moderate price. It circles around Lago Dorado – a beautiful 22 acre lake resembling the spirit of Spanish-Colonial Mexico. Coronado Springs features the largest hot tub at any Walt Disney World Resort, fitting up to 22 adults. You can also talk a walk down the nature trail, play sand volleyball, kayak on the lake, or simply relax poolside.

Finally, let’s take a look at the All-Star Movies Resort, which is a value resort. Uniquely, it has been recognized by the Florida Green Lodging Program for its environmentally responsible practices. The resort is divided into 5 different 3 story buildings, each themed after a popular Disney Movies. All-Star Movies features 2 swimming pools. One is themed after “Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” and the other is themed after “The Mighty Ducks.” Children will have a blast climbing, sliding, and playing at the playground.

Hopefully this article will help simplify your quest in searching for Disney World lodging options. No matter which resort you choose, you and your family are guaranteed to have an enjoyable stay at any Walt Disney World Resort.
