Anaheim Homes For Sale - Shopping for Anaheim Homes for Sale - Inner City Anaheim Homes for Sale, City Neighborhoods, Suburban Neighborhoods

Looking for a new home is a very exciting time, and shoppers who are searching for Anaheim homes for sale have many decisions to make. Of course it does certainly help out a lot if you understand some things about the neighborhoods in Anaheim and how locations are related to prices and average income levels. The city can actually be divided into three distinct areas: the inner city, city neighborhoods, and suburban areas. Let’s take a look at the three different levels of Anaheim homes for sale.

Inner City Anaheim Homes for Sale

On average, the home owners who live in the inner city area of Anaheim earn about $45,000 per year. These homes are mostly priced in the $300,000 range, topping off at $375,000. However, there are some manufactured homes that are listed in the $50,000 range and up. In general, anything priced below $200,000 is usually a foreclosure or a manufactured home. Currently the inner city area of Anaheim is a foreclosure paradise, so it may be in your best interest to shop in the foreclosure section of the city. Also it should be noted that just because a home is in the inner city, it does not mean it is in a bad neighborhood. These neighborhoods in Anaheim tend to simply offer lower income homes than other neighborhoods, and they make up the greatest majority of the city.

City Neighborhoods

The next step up in the ladder of Anaheim homes for sale is the city neighborhoods, and there are significantly fewer parts of the city that fall into this category. Most people who live in these neighborhoods earn around $50,000 to $90,000 per year, and the home prices can range from $400,000 to $500,000. Usually these homes are a little further out from the center of the city, and they are usually in smaller subdivisions or marked neighborhoods. This is also the part of the city where we start to see the range of homes and home prices widening. Of course we will not start to see the multi-million dollar mansions until we get to the suburbs of Anaheim.

Suburban Neighborhoods

There is only one real suburb of Anaheim, and it falls in zip code 92808. Most people in this part of the city are earning more than $100,000 per year, and the home prices start at $700,000 and go up from there. These neighborhoods are the ones where we will start to see some of the homes that are listed for $5 million, and it is easy to see why they are so much because most of these higher priced homes have eight bedrooms and are truly very large mansions. In short, there is pretty much any kind of house you could dream of in Anaheim, and the number of foreclosures that are for sale throughout the city is quite dizzying, but a good deal for home buyers.
