Oak Park is a near-west suburb directly bordering the city limits of Chicago, Illinois. The city has a population of 50,824 and is located in Cook County. Oak Park has a long history dating back to the laying of the Chicago Union Rail lines in the 1850s. It was originally part of Cicero, but in 1902 it was officially incorporated as a village. Oak Park was once a popular tourist destination, as many of the village’s buildings were designed and built by Frank Lloyd Wright. Today, tourists continue to visit the due to the extensive efforts of historic preservation they have undertaken. In addition to the residents by Wright, the village also holds acclaim for being the birthplace and boyhood home of Ernest Hemmingway and the former home of Edgar Rice Burroughs. Other notable people who grew up in Oak Park include Ray Kroc, founder of McDonald’s, Kathy Griffin, comedian, and Dan Castellaneta of the Simpsons.

There are a limited number of hotels in Oak Park, but those that are in the village are of exceptional quality. A number of the hotels are quaint bed & breakfasts while others are more in the genre of the boutique hotel. According to consumer reviews, here are the top three Oak Park hotels:
