Aventura FL, located just north of Miami is a planned city covering 3.5 square miles consisting of 2.7 sq. miles of land of which 0.8 sq. miles are lakes, a Bay, and intracoastal waterways. Aventura was originally mostly swampland and also known as Biscayne Gardens until the development of the now renowned Aventura Mall. The mall is situated at the heart of Aventura near the nearby planned communities and condominium developments built during the explosive growth that the mall’s enormous success encouraged. The majority of Aventura homes for sale were built during this boom.
Incorporated in 1995, Aventura has its own police department and hospital but the Miami-Dade fire department provides fire and rescue services. The excellent Aventura schools are within the Miami-Dade County school district. The major east-west road is the William H. An express shuttle service is free to Aventura residents and the Miami-Dade Transportation System serves for connections beyond Aventura’s city limits.
The indoor Aventura Mall is located in the center of the city and provides almost 2.4 million square feet for a true shopping adventure. The Loehmanns Fashion Island and the outdoor Waterways Shoppes add to Aventura’s shopping experience.
Aventura’s small area places at least one of these shopping areas or others within walking distance of many Aventura homes for sale. The city of Aventura maintains numerous parks throughout the city providing water views, picnic areas, and walkways. The Aventura Arts & Cultural Center hosts the Aventura Cultural Series.

However, categorizing the prices of condominiums is difficult. A 1 BR can cost anywhere from under $1K to $1M K and 2 BR or 3 BR from $250K to over $1M. Often very high priced 1 BR, or low priced 2 BR, or high priced 3BR are often in the same complex or only a block apart.
