MEINBERG, a village and watering-place of Germany, in the principality of Lippe Detmold, situated in a pleasant valley under the Teutoburger Wald, 12 M. S.E. from Detmold by the railway to Altenbeken. Pop. (19o5), 1300. The waters of 11/einberg, which attract annually about Imo visitors, are sulphur springs, and are used for drinking, bathing and inhalation. They became known in the 18th century.
