NEPHTHYS, the sister of Osiris and wife of Seth, daughter of Keb and Nut, plays a considerable role in the Osiris story. She sided with Isis and aided her to bring Osiris back to life. Isis and Nephthys are often mentioned together as protectresses of the dead.
